NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Stocks surged Tuesday, with the Dow jumping close to 400 points on the first day of the new quarter, as investors cheered signs that the companies hit hardest by the credit market crisis seem to be working through the problems.
The Dow Jones industrial average (INDU) rose 391 points or 3.2%. It was the Dow's third best day of the year on a point and percentage basis.

These statistics are for sales of single family homes in Destin through Inlet Beach.
I think we will see a large jump in closings for April. The market has been buzzing for the last month. Every Realtor I speak with has actually been working lately!
I now have over $8,000,000 either closed or set to close in the next 30 days. That's more than I have done in the previous 2 years and it's only April. If that's not a sign of market improvement, I don't know what is. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
