Many of us don’t like talking about ourselves. We will talk about our kids, our favorite gadget, the football game (and of course SPAM everybody with information about our listings)… but when it comes to writing about ourselves, we sound pretty boring!
I was recently asked to write a MeMe, and it made me think about the fact that I have not really shared too many tidbits on my Profile about ME.  I'm in the process of changing that - because I think it's important!

There are Outside Blogs, Hyper Local Posts and Member’s Only Posts on Activerain.  Many people who are new to blogging choose to start with the FREE Member’s Only Account… and I believe there’s value in spending time on Activerain (although personally I would cut out going through the Drive Thru each month to save AR money! #justsayin’)!

It’s no surprise that most Americans are looking for ways to save money… especially those of us in the Real Estate business!  In those efforts, many people who are new to Activerain are opting for the FREE Member’s Only  Account.

Real Estate Agents have for years been shouting Location, Location, Location… with the increased use of mobile technologies… it’s even more important! People today use their cell phone to connect with the internet while they are mobile, and the cell phones are always tracked for location because they rely on cell phone towers to send and receive messages.  In other words, your cell phone always knows where it is located on the planet.

In the Real Estate Business we are constantly looking for ways to get more attention for our listings, and to find buyers.  We have several choices, we can Advertise… or we can Market.
Advertising is out. Viral marketing, where someone else says how great you are, is in.
So what IS this “Viral Marketing” and why is “Advertising Out?” Advertising, by definition is the paid, public, non-personal announcement of a persuasive message by an identified sponsor to its existing and potential customers.  It’s the Old Fashioned Reader Ad, or Print Ad in the Newspaper… it’s not getting much attention now that … (3 comments)
