The important questions to start with are where are you going (Midtown vs. Downtown) and how do you prefer to get there (bus or train).

Each year, Manalapan Township celebrates Memorial Day with a parade down Main Street! It is a wonderful opportunity for marchers and spectators to show their community spirit by celebrating Memorial Day together, as a township. The parade starts at Manalapan's Municipal Complex, travels past the Recreation Center through the heart of Englishtown and finishing up at the American Legion Hall on Sanford Street. "An Appreciation of Where I Live" What a great idea for a photo contest. See the flyer below for details on the photo contest being run by the Mayor's office. I've been wanting to get out and about with my camera and take some photo's of Manalapan to submit to Localism. This contest gives me the perfect excuse to make it a priority! I'm also excited that they broke down the categories by age. My daughter who is considering a future in photography will absolutely love this challenge!

As many Manalapan township residents are aware, there is a plan to restructure the elementary schools being voted on in the next few weeks by the School Board. Below is a link to where you can view the presentation that was made by the Superintendent, laying out the details of the proposed plan. Click for Presentation School Board will vote on the plan on December 9th.
