With the start of the new year everyone's thoughts are to what the Auburn WA Real Estate holds.  Auburn WA real estate market has started out stronger than Jan 2011 with a Jan 2012 homes sold count of 59 compared to 46 in Jan 2011 the year has started out with a 28.261 increase Jan 2011 vs Jan 2012.  As the months close out it will be interesting if we will continue to see this trend.

Washington DC is my favorite city in the country.  I have been only twice and will of course can't wait till I go again.  I think sometime this next summer.  This photo was taken in November of 2010 right before I said goodbye to my husband who was off to Afghanistan that December.  We drove up from North Carolina and stayed at the Hilton right downtown so we could walk everywhere.  This is of course the Washington Monument.

For a little over a week Jay was not able to call or text because he was out on the USS San Antonio, along with about 20,000 Marines and Sailors up and down the East Coast from Virginia to North Carolina.  They were all participating in the exercise Bold Alligator.  I was able to see what it was like by following the Navy Facebook page and reading articles from Marine.mil and some east coast newspapers.

I was watching an episode of some show on HGTV (don't shoot me) and as the buyers were walking through the front door they mentioned how they like it.  It was of course a red door.  Don't know how red front doors became so popular (probably because its bold), but this front door was hideous.  Sure it was red but the paint job was a bit to be desired.

This first chart shows you the Sold Properties by month in Kitsap County Looks like we started the year slow and then ended on a higher note, but then again started 2012 slow.

I do love showing homes to buyers in any area of Puget Sound.  This last week I showed in Poulsbo, Maple Valley, Port Orchard and Covington.  I always find homes that I would love to purchase.  Homes that I can see the vision for and homes that I would love to live in.  Its a good thing that I just can't buy a bunch of homes because I am afraid I would be a home hoarder!  Yeah, I watch that show!
