This coming weekend is the 2nd Annual Bremerton Boat Show down at the new Bremerton Marina.  If you haven't been down to the new Bremerton Marina this would be a great weekend to check it out.  I love going down to the marina and just hanging out.
JANUARY 22ND - 24TH

 FRIDAY Noon to 4pm     SATURDAY 10am to 4pm     SUNDAY 10am to 4pm

Ron Finney of North Woods Productions left a comment on my Port Orchard | The Video post about a new project that he completed in January for the Port of Bremerton's New Marina.  I have posted video of the New Bremerton Marina on my own but not being the professional I wanted to share Ron's awesome production.

The "Lone Sailor Project" is over halfway funded and the casting has begun thanks to the support of the local community. It has been reported that all those donations under $100 are what has given the fund-raising project the boost to be able to boast over $210,000 in donations on the way to the $300,000 goal.   Back in October I was walking down on the Boardwalk checking out all of the completed revitalization projects the City of Bremerton had completed over 2007 and was mesmerized by the construction of the new Port of Bremerton Marina.  I had the opportunity to talk to a couple of workers who informed me that the project should be complete by April 2008.  Well looks like that date has really been moved up.
