This tree has probably been on my property for 60-70 years. It never received much care but was still producing fruit and really was pretty healthy. But I have neighbors from hell that complained and complained. They bought their homes with this tree in place, they knew it was there. But they still complained, so on Monday I had it taken down. It was so sad, I had a couple of tears. oops - left this in draft mode!

I am back to running outdoors! It may not have been sunny today, but at least it was warmer than yesterday and running in the rain! I go by the nursery every run and just today noticed the sign. It brought a smile to my face! I sure hope that sometime this week I can run by the sign and the sun will be in my eyes!

There are weeks that I feel like all I do is work - oh, yeah, that is all I have been doing over the last few weeks. I haven't taken a day off since the Christmas Holidays. I usually take a little holiday in February and spend some time with my husband who is stationed in North Carolina, but not this year. I am missing him and I am missing Alaska this week. I have never taken a video with my android phone and loaded to YouTube - yesterday I got lost while going to take a new listing, the day was sunny and gorgeous and since I was lost in the woods I decided to grab my phone and do a short video as a test.
So, just now I hit the share button on my phone and loaded it to Youtube - I thought for sure it would take forever but it didn't. So here it is. Me lost, again and being goofy!

I spent most of the 3-day Labor Day Holiday weekend working in my attic. I am getting it ready to insulate. You see I bought a "flip" and well they didn't really finish some "cut corner" type of areas. I am now doing some of it myself - well, with my sweetie when he is home. I thought I would take the opportunity to do some videos to use in marketing homes that are built in the 1930's - 1940's. I am turning into a "home recycler". Ok, I wasn't very "wordless" when I caught it! I have never in my 50 years caught a fish! I only began fishing the last 3 years and have only fished in the State of Alaska (if you don't count my practice fly casting in my front street). So when I caught this fish it was really cool.
I had never held a fish or touched a fish. The limit this day was 3 and I caught 3!

I live in one of the most beautiful places in the Pacific Northwest. No matter where I drive in my area I can see water, mountains and gorgeous colors not matter what the season. This is my everyday view. The Olympic Mountains are always gorgeous.

This photo was taken by my husband on a snow mobile tour up north of Anchorage Alaska. The unit he is with invited the spouses to go on a guided tour of some amazing country. Of course as usual I wasn't able to join them because I was here selling homes in Kitsap County! I do have a photo of him insidet the cave too! The photos were amazing. Will post more next Wednesday.
