Daytona Beach, Florida - The Daytona Beach Symphony Society will kick off their 61st season on
November 3 at Peabody Auditorium, Daytona Beach, Florida. 

National Symphony Orchestras from China and Cuba, an Opera, and the Vienna Boys Choir are all part of the
61st seasons' lineup.The National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba will be making their first visit to the United
States since the Castro revolution. 
A special Beethoven Week-end November 16-18 will celebrate some his most beautiful music with the
Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra. 
The 13th Annual Winterfest, Daytona's premier cultural weekend of concerts and events is scheduled
January 25-27, 2013.

Volusia County launches Art in Public Places website - 08/04/12 10:50 AM
Volusia County Florida - Volusia County announced recently they have launched a new website that
showcases more than 200 pieces of art that has been purchased through the Art in Public Places  Program
over the last 22 years and are on display throughout the County.

"You don't have to go to a museum to view beautiful and inspiring works of art!  More than 200 pieces - ranging from whimsical sculptures to classical paintings - are on display at 16 facilities owned by Volusia County"
