I have been keeping you in the loop of the Extreme Makeover Home Edition selection of a family back in June and on June 13th we had a Pep Rally to celebrate and prepare for the build that began on June 19th.  On June 19th the Keefer family in Etters, PA found out that they were the family selected to have an Extreme Home Makeover on their home.  Thankfully Central Pennsylvania citizens came to the front and we had SO MANY VOLUNTEERS - that unfortunately ABC couldn't use them all!  The build lasted only one week and on the 26th the Keefer's were blessed and totally overwhelmed by a beautiful … (5 comments)

It's a WRAP!  An Extreme Makeover Wrap Party!
 Okay so it's a blurry picture!  But it was a great wrap party - there were so many men and women that helped to build the new/remodeled home for the Keefer family and this was a great way to thank them.  (Do you recognize Paulie?  He's the one with the glasses!) 
I saw in the Sunday newspaper that Mrs. Keefer was very grateful.  She said that she could say THANK YOU every day for the rest of her life and it wouldn't be enough.

This is my husband and myself before we did the march to the house to let the Keefer family know they were getting a new home!  This is the bus that will be moved when they do the reveal this Sunday.  I wanted to be sure you all tuned into the show when it airs.  This show will launch the 9th season and will be a 2 hour special.  It will air - Spetember 27th on ABC.

I want to thank Giant Foods.  They generously donated food for our Pep Rally AND they are also feeding the volunteers working at the build breakfast, lunch and dinner for the entire Build Week (6/19-6/26) AND they are supplying veggie trays, etc. for the final cast party on June 27th.  They have donated unbelieveable amounts of food and I wanted to publicly thank them.  Please shop Giant Food stores as a THANK YOU for their amazing support.

Extreme Makeover Home Edition has begun!  
Yesterday it was announced that the Keefer family of Dubbers Drive in Newberry Township were going to receive an Extreme Home Makeover!  Brian Keefer is a quadirplegic living in a 2 story home that keeps him trapped on the first floor.  All that is about to change!
Below is a picture of the opening of the Pep Rally - it was an amazing success.  Thank you Central PA for showing your support.

This is my first post - I am exhausted. . . looks at the hundreds of people in the background.  They believe there were over 2000 people in attendance.  It was so amazing and truly makes my heart proud that so many Central Pennsyvanian's are willing to share in this amazing build!
The man in the picture is RJ Harris with 580 WHP and the woman is my receptionist - Jessica White.
