Excitement is in the air in Charleston, SC, as we have waited three years for the unveiling of a $19 Million renovation at Dock Street Theatre.  Originally built in 1736, it is the first building in America to be built as a theatre.  The building is located at the corner of Church and Queen Streets. Speechless Sunday in Charleston, SC and the Angel Oak Tree - 03/07/10 10:43 AM
The Angel Oak Tree, located on John's Island, near Charleston, SC is said to be the oldest oak tree east of the Mississippi River.  The tree is believed to be over 1400 years old and is owned by the City of Charleston.  The park is open daily for visitors, and its' FREE.
