Closed Another Bank Of America Short Sale - 10/28/10 07:28 PM
 I closed another short sale today.  This one was a Bank of America short sale and it could not have gone smoother.  The negotiator was awesome, she always answered my emails in a timely manner and even gave me her phone number when we had a minor problem come up. 
This home was in Livingston Ca.   It was a three bedroom two bath home built in 1991.  It sold for $95,000.
With all of the negative publicity that Bank of America has gotten recently I think it is right to praise them when they do something right.  This time they did … (6 comments)

Why wait another day?  I mailed in my absentee ballot today.  I figured why wait until next week?  I believe that this is one of the most important things that we as citizens of this great country can do.  Too many people do not vote and I think that is inexcusable. 
I have been voting by mail now for a couple of years.  It's the easiest thing in the world to do.  No going out in the cold , snow or rain on election day.  You just sit in the comfort of you own home fill out your ballot, put it in … (8 comments)

Bank of America Short Sales - Another Point Of View - 10/12/10 05:19 PM
I know a lot has been said and written about the horrors of a Bank of America Short Sale.  They have also been in the news a lot the past week or so.  I know that Bank of America has earned their reputation.  But my experience with Bank of America short Sales has been the complete opposite.
I had a Bank of America Short Sale listing in Ripon Ca.  I entered all of the information into Equator.com and waited.  And waited.  Finally after getting no response I called the BofA short sale department.  It was then that I was told that since the … (13 comments)

Closed Another Central CA Short Sale Today - 10/11/10 08:06 PM
I closed another Central CA short sale today.  This one was in Tracy and was with Wachovia Bank. 
This sale took a long and winding road to recording.  We had 3 different buyers in contract before we got there. 
The bottom line is that everyone is happy.  The buyer got a brand new roof on a great home and the seller is ecstatic and he also got $3000 in his pocket thanks to Wachovia Bank.

It's not too early to start thinking about cold weather - 10/06/10 10:10 PM
Century 21 M&M and Associates has anounced that they will again be a major sponser of the News10 Coats for kids this year. 
I know that the recent hot weather is still fresh in your memory but it's never too early to start thinking about coats for kids.  We are accepting new or gently used coats for kids at all of our offices.
You know you are going to have to clean out that closet anyway, and last years coats are probably not going to fit the kids this year.  So why not donate them to this worthy cause?

Too big to fail?? How about too big to be competent? - 10/05/10 02:48 PM
I received a call today about one of my short sale listings.  The caller left me a voice mail.  She said that there were some security issues with the home.  It was from the bank that has the mortgage on the property.
The issues were allegedly two open windows, an open slider and lock boxes on the front door.  So I went to take a look.
Well, I knew the lock boxes were on the front door because they are mine.  I was not sure how this was a security issue.  All the doors were locked including the slider.
