It is estimated that most American Families can only maintain their current living expenses for 60 days or less when income is interrupted for any reason.  If something happens it does not take very long for most families to fall behind on their bills.  If you have fallen behind on your mortgage payment and you are not sure what to do a Short Sale may be the answer.

Closed another Central Ca Short Sale - 12/28/10 04:11 PM
I closed another Central Ca short Sale today.  This one was in Stockton Ca.   This home had 4 bedrooms and 3 baths.  What I really liked about this home was the huge back yard with the large deck all the was across the back of the house.  I can imagine the new owner having some great BBQ's out there this coming summer.
The short sale bank was U.S. Bank and they were pretty good to work with.  This was another property I sold without ever meeting the seller in person as he lived clear across the country.  I have done that several times … (5 comments)

Now that we have a short sale approval what do we do now?  Once we have the short sale approval the sale progresses much like a regular sale. (Most of the time)  The buyer now has a certain amount of days (whatever was agreed to in the purchase contract) to do their inspections.  If the buyers are financing the purchase the lender will do an appraisal.
