Stanislaus County Short Sales - Thanks for more gray hairs Chase Bank I would like to take this opportunity to thank Chase Bank for giving me a few more gray hairs today. No really. I've been told gray hairs are distinguished, handsome even. Hey it works for Richard Gere and Sean Connery, why not for me. Ok, maybe I would prefer that Chase Bank doesn't give me the gray hairs. Why am I blaming thanking Chase Bank you might ask? Well let me tell you what is going on with one of my Stanislaus County Short Sales and Chase bank. (2 comments)
This year in Modesto will mark the 138th annual Fourth of July Celebration Parade. The theme for the 2012 parade is "America The Beautiful." The parade in Downtown Modesto starts at 10am on the Fourth of July. The starting point is 10th and F streets and the parade eventually ends up at 17th and Ist. A tradition with the Modesto Independence Day parade is a float that is reserved for those born on the Fourth of July.
The Modesto Farmers Market will also be open on the Fourth from 6:00am to (0 comments)
Turlock residents will be able to celebrate the Fourth of July all day this year. The festivities will include a parade, car show and fireworks. Be sure to check out the Turlock Fireworks and Fenders this year at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds.
The parade will be downtown on Main Street and will start at 10 am. Be sure to get downtown early and check out one of the many fine places to have a snack or breakfast before the parade. The parade will head west down Main Street and end (10 comments)
Stanislaus County Short Sales - You might Face a Big Tax Bill!
Did you know that up until 2007 that if you sold your home in a Stanislaus County Short Sale that you most likely would have had to pay income taxes on the amount of forgiven debt? So if you had sold your home in 2006 for $100,00 but still owed $150,000 the $50,000 of your mortgage that was forgiven was considered income for 2006. So on top of having to sell your home you ended up with a big tax bill.
Do you ever have that feeling that you are being watched?? Have you ever had that feeling that someone or something is watching you? I think everyone has felt this at one time or another. It's hard to describe it but you feel something. You sense something or someone is there. I had this feeling yesterday as I left my office and walked across the parking lot to my car. There was only one other car in the parking lot and it was clearly empty. Nobody was walking through the lot taking a short cut like happens every now and (5 comments)
Stanislaus County Short Sales - Might as well be on different planets! One thing that I usually tell my Stanislaus County Short Sale sellers is that just because you are trying to or are actually in the middle of a short sale, don't expect the bank's collection department to quit calling you. It is amazing to me how much time, money and effort that the banks waste in trying to collect from someone that is doing a short sale. The two departments of the bank "Might as well be on different planets." I had a seller recently (0 comments)

Stanislaus County is know for its warm (ok, HOT) summers. While the calender says it is still spring this past weekend was definitely summer weather. With the high temperatures in Stanislaus County passing the triple digits it was time to do something about the heat. There are many lakes and rivers in the area where people can cool off and lots of people have a pool. But our choice this weekend was to head west. Directly west from Stanislaus County is the beautiful Pacific Ocean.
As a Stanislaus County Short Sales agent it seems like every transaction offers some sort of lesson. The Stanislaus County Short Sale landscape is constantly changing and evolving. Here are a few more lessons I have learned along the way.
Just about every Stanislaus County Short Sale Seller will do some research before deciding to list. A lot of people will search the internet for information. A lot of people will also speak to friends or neighbors. The biggest problem with this is (1 comments)

Just because a short sale went smoothly with bank ABC it does NOT mean that the next short sale with bank ABC will also go smoothly. It seems like every week (or maybe even every day) there are new guidelines or procedures added to the short (0 comments)

Stanislaus county short sale agent - Almost wordless Sunday The pictures below are from our recent trip to San Francisco. My previous post was all about the San Francisco Maritime National Park so this one will be a bit different. Enjoy the pictures of Chinatown and the skyline of The City.
If I am not listing or showing Stanislaus County Short Sales on the weekend I like to get out and see some of the great things this area has to offer. Last Saturday was one of those days. I have written many times about taking day trips to San Francisco. It seems like every time we go we find something different to do. This time was no exception.

If you are thinking about selling your Stanislaus County Home and you owe more than it is worth you will probably need to do a short sale. If you are like most Stanislaus County Home sellers before you decide to list your home you will do some research. Most likely you will talk with your bank about options. If you have tried the loan modification route you are probably ready to try a short sale now.
At this point you will probably do some internet searches to get (3 comments)
