Have you tried a Stanislaus County Orangedew? One of the great things about living here in the Central Valley of California is all the great fresh produce that is grown here. Stanislaus County farmers grow a huge variety of fruits and vegetables that are enjoyed all over the world. There are several local farmers markets and dozens of roadside fruit stands here in Stanislaus County. There are lots of different fruits and vegetables grown here in Stanislaus County. Farmers Markets and Fruit Stands in Stanislaus County - Part 3 Part 3 of my Stanislaus County Farmers Market series is about the Modesto Certified Farmers Market. This market is held every Thursday and Saturday in downtown Modesto and runs from 7am to 1pm. This market has been existence for more than 30 years having been established in 1979. Farmers Markets and Fruit Stands in Stanislaus County - Part 2 Today I was able to visit another one of the many farmers markets in Stanislaus County. This one was the Friday morning Turlock Farmers Market. The Turlock Farmers Market is held downtown on Broadway at Main St. In addition to the delicious looking produce available there were spices, humus, jams and jellies, baked goods and some delicious English Toffee.
