weather: REAL ESTATE MARKET IN WENATCHEE, WA IS CHANGING... - 11/20/10 12:06 PM
... but probably not in the way you are thinking!
It snowed last night and this coming week we are supposed to see temperatures in the single digits! As a REALTOR in the Wenatchee/East Wenatchee area this creates a whole new set of circumstances we have not thought of since last February.
For example tomorrow I am doing an open house from 1-3. If the house is vacant this weekend I need to be sure and show up early to clear the driveway and a path to the front door. Also turn the heat up so the house is comfortable. While I am … (4 comments)

weather: Wenatchee, WA and the first snow - 12/13/08 09:54 AM
Not much to write about but we did finally get some snow. So far about an inch but more is forecast for the weekend as well as lower temperatures.
If you are not familiar with Wenatchee we are close to the geographic center of Washington State. IN the summer we have a couple weeks (usually late July and first of Aug) where temps get to 100 or so. Though because of our location they also cool down to the high 60's at night. In the winter we also get a few weeks of snow...usually off and on and not much more … (2 comments)

The other day I was showing a long term client some property in the area. This client, originally from Hawaii, was explaining how wonderful Hawaii was but also how boring... same weather, same wind , same temp same day. On the other hand one of the reason they were locating to Wenatchee was generally good weather but even more important the Four Seasons... Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.
I have to admit, it is one of the features I like best. Not only does it provide a wider array of activities (because of changes in weather) but each season is different; … (1 comments)
