simi valley homes: Your Wood Ranch Realtor Doesn't Stop Working for You - 05/29/12 08:59 AM
Here we are here on Memorial Day in our patriotic colors, working hard for you! Allyson and I came into the office for a bit and I took a brief respite from showing Simi Valley homes this weekend to get some paperwork done. We'll party later!

simi valley homes: My Favorite BBQ Restaurant in Simi Valley - 05/22/12 04:24 PM
Mmmmm, I am a lover of beef ribs and a few nights ago I decided to enjoy some at my favorite Simi Valley restaurant, Red's BBQ and Grillery. Located at the far side of Central shopping, restaurants and Simi Valley homes, Red's food is always great. Red's and I go back a long time as my daughter managed there several years ago before she moved close by in her Simi Valley town home. My friend and I would walk across the street for Red's Chinese Chicken Salad and lots of delicious rolls, and the salad was a whooping $6.99! Many Friday or

simi valley homes: COME CELEBRATE WITH ME! - 05/18/12 10:49 AM
Okay, so yesterday was my birthday and I'm going far away from my Simi Valley homes, Wood Ranch luxury homes and my physical office. I'm celebrating by going to Maui tomorrow on the Troop Top Producers' Trip! I'm taking Allyson, too, as she deserves the reward as well! The cell phone still works, the iPad is with me and my assistant... heck, we can have an office in Maui! Yeah, right... dream on, Jo Ann... my Simi Valley home sellers would have something to say about that! Back to reality. So what do birthdays and real estate in general or, Simi Valley real

simi valley homes: Do Simi Valley Properties and Wine Have Something in Common? - 05/09/12 09:25 AM
My last post talked about the flavors of wine...aromatic, cherries, herbs. This post will educate you with a flair and comparison to Simi Valley homes. Some of the wines are grown with the vines very closely planted, or with very high density, as in the High Density Hilltops Syrah. Lots of vines per acre, low sunlight, short pruning to limit growth, unfathomable concentration, but with balance. So how does this type of grape vine compare to some Simi Valley properties? Think about some of the Simi Valley properties in some of the communities in West Simi Valley and Wood Ranch

simi valley homes: From My Heart to Yours, Simi Valley! - 04/17/12 09:58 AM
Every month for the last 2-1/2 years, I bake several dozen cookies for delivery to a group of small business owners who live and work around Simi Valley properties and to whom I refer business. I visit my locksmith, termite inspector, printer, veterinarian, the appliance store and about 10 or 15 others. It's really a funny assembly line at my own Wood Ranch home as I mix the batter, watch the oven, drop the cookies on the sheets and stuff them into the two cookie tins that I've had for an eternity. Then they go to the office and my assistant counts them

simi valley homes: IT'S A SMALL WORLD! - 03/27/12 04:56 PM
I realized over the weekend how truly small the world is. I was at Costco with A.J. and Kyra, the loves of my life (my grandchildren). A lady was at the seafood counter buying lots of King crab legs. As I like people and will always find a way to open a conversation, I asked if she was buying enough for me for dinner!!! The lady was as friendly as I and said there was. As we chatted a minute or two more about mundane things, I brought out my business card and asked for business in the way of a referral for

simi valley homes: GREAT RESOURCES... "3.68% 30-YEAR FIXED LOAN"!!! - 03/12/12 09:15 AM
My website, Personal Brochure and all my other marketing materials offer clients to "Poole Your Efforts", "...call upon resources" and even talk about The Poole Team and our accomplishments. It was more than obvious in the latest transaction I closed last Thursday on a Simi Valley short sale. As I mentioned, it was a short sale. Short sales are known to be nightmares, but with the team effort, pooling resources and working together, it went smoothly and in just less than three months, the escrow closed on this Simi Valley property. The home was purchased for $50,000 less than the previous buyer who

simi valley homes: SALUTE TO AMERICA - 02/20/12 09:53 AM
Last Friday, Kyra, my precious granddaughter and her class, brought tears to my eyes. She is 7 years of age and she and her class at Wood Ranch Elementary School performed the most phenomenal program for Presidents' Day. I would have posted their group picture, but I guess I need permission from all the parents... and just wanted to get this out to you. It was called "Salute to America," and the children were dressed in white T-shirts with red and blue stars and some children were dressed as Ben Franklin and good ole' George. What was so phenomenal was that they sang so many songs and performed with

simi valley homes: NETWORKNG -- THIS ONE IS SPECIAL - 02/16/12 01:07 PM
Now, I have to start at the beginning. A year ago, there was no group. It simply was a local pamphlet circulated around our area and picked up by residents of Simi Valley homes and it was called "Simply Girl Talk." I loved the publication, found a lot of helpful tips and quotes and facts that one would never have known if the publishers hadn't brought to my attention. Like "Did You Know...the lifespan of a tastebud is ten days?" Or recipes, inspirational thoughts and health tips. I advertised for about a year. In the meantime, Patty, the co-founder of

simi valley homes: Follow up on Loyalty - 01/30/12 11:39 AM
So, as a follow up to my post of a few days ago, this one really makes my heart swell! (Too dramatic?) But it really does. I track how and from where my business comes, and this particular client has made my day after the realization that she and I have actually been corresponding since 2008. Yep, she initially emailed me as a result of the new website I put out, thanks to the company near our office called RealtyTech. I received Ms. Buyer's email as she registered on my site. She was looking for Wood Ranch homes, she lives

simi valley homes: LOYALTY, NOT DISAPPOINTMENT - 01/18/12 11:32 AM
I had an opportunity this past weekend to show Wood Ranch homes to a couple who are past clients. They have purchased and sold a number of properties, both Simi Valley homes and in the San Fernando Valley. I found a new listing we've talked about for them to purchase as a rental. At some point in the next couple of years they would sell their Wood Ranch luxury home and move into this listing. We viewed the listing and one or two others and they were excited about this community of highly upgraded Wood Ranch gated homes. We discussed several

simi valley homes: Ladies' Night Fun - 01/16/12 04:32 PM
A group of us get together every month, six to eight ladies, and we drink wine, eat appetizers we all brought, and play our favorite game of Skip-Bo. We gather at one or the other Simi Valley homes. That was last Tuesday night. Tonight it's Muvico with another few of my lady friends to eat, drink and see a movie in the VIP section. Why, you say, would I write a Blog about this? I guess it's again to discuss the balancing of life. Today, my schedule is so unbelievably overbooked that I'm taking one appointment at a time. Two clients are leaving

simi valley homes: WHAT WILL 2012 BRING IN HOUSING? - 01/02/12 04:31 PM
Here's my take on the subject... 2011 was my best production year in five years, a 19% increase in my business. Do I believe 2012 will be different than 2011... you betcha! The goal is even more hefty, as I desire to have on my production sheet many more listings and sales than 2011. Which brings me to the subject of YOU, my past client who has referred new business to me or purchased a new home from me or just passed out my card to your neighbor or friend. I REALLY, really appreciate that help. In order to reach that

simi valley homes: WOW FOR MY CLIENTS! - 11/28/11 06:04 PM
Thanksgiving weekend was absolutely gorgeous in Southern California and specifically, Ventura County and Simi Valley! 80 degrees both Saturday and Sunday and I spent several hours both days visiting past clients and delivering holiday gifts to their Simi valley homes. What fun it was to see the children who want to show me their freshly decorated bedrooms in their beautiful Wood Ranch townhomes and the moms who insist that I sit in the newly remodeled kitchen for a cup of coffee. Some clients even feed me a slice of their homemade pie or a new holiday recipe! These visits

simi valley homes: IS IT COMFORTABLE AT THE EDGE! - 12/22/10 11:33 AM
Simply said, Buyers need to own up to the fact that being at the edge of the cliff may be daunting. So, what to do? Jump into Simi Valley real estate...NOW!Yes, jump, I said! What are you waiting for? Interest rates to go down more. Prices to drop? Not with Simi Valley homes, Wood Ranch luxury homes or anything of the type here in Simi Valley. Let me tell you, folks, that being on the edge is no fun. Being on the edge is being indecisive. Being on the edge is procrastination. And being on the edge when deciding to buy

simi valley homes: WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? - 11/01/10 06:35 PM
Oh, my gosh, I started thinking the other day about all my friends who have children of echo boomer age -- 18 to 31 -- who are still either living at home in a Wood Ranch luxury home or renting a high-priced ridiculous apartment somewhere in Simi Valley or a house with a gizillion other echo boomers... Wait a minute! It is predicted that in 18 months there will be 80 Million of these echo boomers looking for a Simi Valley home or elsewhere for a house. And guess what!!!??? There will be shortage of Simi Valley real estate listings for them and that

simi valley homes: SHARING TAX INCENTIVE INFORMATION - 04/05/10 10:26 AM
See Below From The California Association of Realtors... Your Simi Valley realtor wants you to be as informed as possible. When buying Wood Ranch real estate or Simi Valley condos and Simi Valley townhomes, Simi Valley REO homes, or any Simi Valley properties, it is imperative you be knowledgeable. If you are in a position to help a son or daughter, this, too, is for you. The opportunity is now for young people to purchase a Simi Valley home with Mom or Dad's help. I have assisted many clients with their children and the children still get the tax benefits. I would

simi valley homes: PICKING THE RIGHT REALTOR - 02/09/10 10:42 AM
Remember when you were in grade school and lived in a Simi Valley home or elsewhere and your first day of school a teacher was assigned to you? All the horror stories you heard about him or her came to mind and you dreaded the first class... Well, you are a big girl or boy now and you can choose your own realtor/consultant who will assist you in your, most likely, largest purchase of your life. How to go about it? I believe the single most important reason to choose me, your Simi Valley realtor and Wood Ranch realtor specialist, is the self-confidence I exude to you
