Here I was sitting with my friends at the Wood Ranch Starbucks, where we see Wood Ranch town homes and Wood Ranch luxury homes... WOW, weather took a sudden turn -- check out the video... Dramatic climate changes...winds in an uproar, temperature dropping at least ten degrees...Southern California...love it -- tomorrow will be warm and sunny, dry and gorgeous... Call me to find that perfect Simi Valley property, even a Wood Ranch luxury home for you, 'cause wouldn't you want to live in Southern California?
Oh, and here's a glimpse of today's beautiful weather!

You probably know by reading my posts how much I enjoy living in my Wood Ranch town home and helping families purchase and sell homes here. With this post, I'd like to share some information about The Wood Ranch Golf Club, of which I am a social member and enjoy many of the functions there with many of my Wood Ranch neighbors.

Last week we had a fabulous Wine Tasting Holiday get-together in Los Olivos and guess what we did...yep, you got it...we tasted some of the finest wines in the region. Over 30 of us took the day off from showing Simi Valley properties and were chauffeured in a Party Bus with lots of snacks, drinks, Mimosas and Bloody Marys! Plus, we had some fine comradery with our fellow associates.

Last Friday was Veteran’s Day. Many people stopped for a moment to show gratitude to a veteran they knew, speak to an associate whose loved one sacrificed their life, or visited the local Veteran Memorial located near a group of Simi Valley homes in the wonderful park by our Civic Center.
I spent the better part of the day with my grandchildren, A.J. - 10, and Kyra, who is almost 7. We visited the Veteran’s Memorial in our town. You may wonder how these two topics blend together. Let me explain.
