This trip for me is a journey, one that comes once a year.
Thanks to my Broker/Owner/President who awards me this respite from the daily trials of real estate. Laying on the beach watching the waves on a Sunday... simple picture but great meaning... how about infinity, and strength, not to mention relaxation and timelessness.
Yes, I get philosophical and the Hawaii shoreline makes me more so.
Watching the waves is so calming and peaceful. I guess that's why people come here. But why not so in Southern California, near our Simi Valley homes and Wood Ranch luxury homes?

I sold their beautiful Wood Ranch town home with a golf course view seven years ago and referred them to a realtor in the state of Washington. They remained on my database, receiving birthday and anniversary cards. We emailed every now and then.
Received an email from the Mrs. last week, not about Simi Valley homes but asking about Charlotte, North Carolina. Seems they are contemplating a move there and desired a referral from me.

I'm sitting at my friend's auto repair shop, located near Wood ranch homes, having him install my new Dyno Valve from SAVI Corporation. The valve is supposed to give me lots of improved stuff for my engine, including better gas mileage. I know it will! With gas prices so high, driving with my buyers around showing Simi Valley properties can be costly. All in the way, though, of being successful in real estate.

So, I knocked on the door of my clients whose short sale approval just came in. I wanted to surprise them and let them know we can open escrow on their Simi Valley home... the puppy greeted me and so did their children.
I greeted Ms. Buyer and showed her the approval and she looked at him with such surprise. (I'm not sure they were ready) The approval had come in just under five weeks and they were quite surprised. Too many do not have too little this year and don't even have the luxury of living in a Simi Valley town home or any Simi Valley property at all. Their challenges are far beyond ours.
