At Friday's closing, I should have seen it coming.  Navigating this business is never for the faint of heart, but on Friday, I truly found out what that meant.
Some days, it seems that peril lurks around every corner.... Appraisers, Loan Officers, Banks, Sellers, Buyers, Title Companies - everyone has a stake in the game and wants to come out ahead.
After sitting in a closing with my buyers for over 2 hours on Friday, it became apparent what a jungle this business truly is. I can't quite describe to you exactly what I saw... Thank goodness I took a picture. … (4 comments)

I've been asking myself over the past couple of months if there is a master switch on Real Estate that I didn't know about....

Ever the rah-rah type, you may have noticed my annoying optimism over the past several months.  I've even done several posts about how I truly thought the economy was improving, much to the irritation of several of my fellow Rainers (For example, see "5 Grass Roots Signs the Economy is Improving...")
