How was I to know, my neighbor up the way is a Granola Gourmet. Jeff Cohen approached me the other day with a see through plastic container filled with Brownie Granola bars. Of course he had my undivided attention at that point as he began to share with me the story behind this new business he created from his own kitchen. "Here try this, these bars are not only good, but they are good for you" Well he didn't have to ask me twice and I began to chew on the first of many Granola bars that evening. I finally made it into Maria's Deli in Newhall today after driving by hundreds of times wondering what the food was like each time. Well today was different I finally stopped in. I was greeted by Paul one of the young kids behind the counter taking orders who asked me what I wanted to order. I ordered a roast beef sandwich and browsed around the place. He asked me my name and immediately began addreessing me by first name.

If you're a guy looking for a haircut in Santa Clarita there are not a whole lot of choices to choose from. You can either go to the local "Barber" like some of us used to as a kid, which is great if you want a buzz cut, or you can roll the dice and get a "super, fantastic" haircut. Better yet, you can go to a hair salon and pay 40+ bucks like the rest of the girls not including your manicure and pedicure. We shouldn't pay anymore or less for a haircut RIGHT GUYS!!!
