free: A Smile is Pricelss - 02/19/10 06:52 AM

Yesterday I had an AHA moment leaving a sandwich shop. I was greeted upon entering with a "can I help you?" and order taker never made eye contact so there was never a warm greeting. After placing the order she asked me to have a seat and she would bring my order over. Again, upon delivering my order, she never made eye contact and her expression never changed. When I went to pay my bill, she was there to take my money and again nothing had changed. Indifferent! As I left, I thought how important it is to let people know … (4 comments)
