Good Monday to you! Wow, being under the weather really sucks! It's been a week since my last post and I've had the AR blues. Posting on AR is a habit that I've gotten into and really enjoy. Since I've been down and out, I’ve got to get my focus back! Remember, there are many different areas of your business that you can do and be in, but you can't be everywhere at once. Focus on an area that you really love and are good at, a niche that you can command and people will think of you when (6 comments)

Good Monday to you! I’ve got to go back to basics. There are so many things to do and that need to get done, that at times you can be overwhelmed. Even following your “To Do” list, there are still many distractions that happen to you and sometimes there is no control. When this happens, I find that I have to go back to basics and ultimately, what works for me. Eventually, it all comes down to focus and in making successful habits. Habits are not easy to achieve (whether they happen to be good or bad), they just take time. (3 comments)
Never be afraid to ask or help. Prioritizing and getting yourself straight.
Prioritizing is putting down on paper how you can logically get through your day, week, and month and beyond. It’s about logically thinking spending your time wisely and efficiently so that you can make your time count. It won’t always work that way, but it gives you a roadmap of where you want to be and to go. You may be ready to tackle that day full of vigor and optimism, however, distractions do happen. Phone calls you didn’t plan for (which can be a good or (4 comments)

Good Thursday Morning to you! Persistence is pressing on even when you don’t want to. Persistence is the ability to maintain action regardless of your feelings. You must maintain action and press on even when you feel like quitting (which in some cases can feel like all the time!)
Don’t give up. Believe in yourself and in what you can do and accomplish. Your persistence is what allows you to keep moving forward even when you lack the motivation to do so. In some ways, it is the engine that helps drive the motivation. Persistence is pressing on even when (3 comments)

Good Wednesday to you! If you believe in what you are doing, don't give up. There are many people that do things, especially in marketing that try and try and then just give up hoping that the next best thing works. I have believed in a certain type of marketing and have tweaked it to get better results and for a while - nothing. But, I kept doing it because I believed. Well, lo and behold, I signed a large deal yesterday, got two phone calls from people that received my marketing and want to move forward and I got an (3 comments)
You’ve heard the saying GIGO. Garbage In, Garbage Out. Always believe in yourself and in what you are doing. Whether you believe you can or can’t, you’re usually right. Case in point. This is a very simple case, however, I find it pertinent to this post. Many years ago, with my ex-wife, I attended a family reunion of hers with 88 family members that attended. Not one member of her family actually knew all that were there except the great-grandmother. Now, most people that I know are always saying how bad they (5 comments)

Good Friday morning! Help other people achieve what they want. Learn not to put yourself first, but do so for others. Your actions have an impact on those around you, so it's of the utmost importance to give your best effort with others in mind.
By helping others, you will find that you, yourself will be helped along the way. Help other people achieve what they want. “You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.”

Good Monday morning! Do you know how to be happy today? Many of us (myself included) continually look to tomorrow and oft times forget about today. We stay so focused on the successes that we want to achieve, that we tend to lose sight of what is going on around us at the moment.
Friends, family... Don't shut out what's in front of you while you pursue your dreams. Make that around you a part of who and what you are, because it and they are. Do you know how to be happy today? “Learn how to be (5 comments)

Good Friday morning! What you do today, determines what happens tomorrow. You need to make sure that you get to things that matter, not only for today, but help you set up for tomorrow. Making your list of things to do and getting some of them accomplished gets you closer to your goals as long as it’s notjust “busy” work.

Good Thursday morning! Nike says "Just Do It." Do you get things done throughout the day only to realize that it was just busy work without ever really getting anything accomplished? I thing that that has happended to many of us. I look back and realize that I've done that a few times over the last couple of weeks. When I was talking some of the frustrations that I was having in my business with my wife, she asked what happened to the list that I made everyday that I would use and start scratching things off. She's right, I (4 comments)

Good Tuesday morning! Opportunity stares at you all the time. Do you recognize it? It comes in many disguises and ways and is not easily seen. However, if you look closely and possibly analyze the situation, what you find in front of you that may be bad, could possibly be an opportunity. Opportunity stares at you all the time.

Good Monday morning! April is now upon us and the first quarter is now in the past. Are you where you were hoping to be at this time? If not, why? Remember, if it was easy, everyone would be doing it (whatever IT is). Only you will know what IT is. If you're not there yet, get yourself back on track, because we all know that sometimes life gets in the way.

Good Friday morning! Integrity: It's what you're about. Dictionary.com defines Integrity in the following way:
in·teg·ri·ty [in-teg-ri-tee] Show IPA noun 1. adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness ofmoral character; honesty. 2. the state of being whole, entire, or undiminished: to preservethe integrity of the empire. 3. a sound, unimpaired, or perfect condition: the integrity of aship's hull.
I believe that it's all about YOU. It's who you are whether things are good or bad, up or down. It's who you are all the time and doesn't matter if anyone is watching you. It's who you are and what you're made up of. In business, Integrity is many times felt by those around you knowing who you are. Many times it can be the deciding factor about whether someone wants to do (4 comments)

Good Wednesday morning! Integrity: A word to live by. Wikipedia says that integrity is a concept of consistency of actions, values, methods, measures, principles, expectations, and outcomes. I believe that about sums it also. Wikipedia then goes on to say: "In ethics, integrity is regarded as the honesty and truthfulness or accuracy of one's actions. Integrity is also said that in that it regards internal consistency as a virtue, and suggests that parties holding apparently conflicting values should account for the discrepancy or alter their beliefs."
I believe that Integrity is something that every person that has ever done business (4 comments)

Good Tuesday morning! Integrity is something in you. It is so easy to be able to do the wrong thing. Sticking to your guns and believing in yourself and in what you do can never be a bad thing. Remember, it is easy to say and do something else when noone is looking over your shoulder. Integrity is doing the right thing, even when noone is watching. Good Monday morning! Over the weekend I was spending time with the family, but at night went on the web to do some work. I found a website that allowed me to check other websites to make sure that my content (that I spent a lot of time writing) wasn't taken by others. Lo' and behold, I found, not one, but two culprits. One of them literally took my entire website, logos and all and just put their name on it. The other took all of my icons and content. I am now in touch with my attorneys and the legal (8 comments)

Good Friday morning! Today is clean up day for me. I'm going to stick to my list (unless something really important comes up) and work extra hard on clearing up many of the items that I have to get done.
I'd like to get many of these done so that I can spend some quality time with the family. It really hurts when your little girl says "Daddy, you work all the time and are always on the puter.: Ouch!

Good Thursday morning! Prioritizing the things that you have to get done is important, otherwise a lot of time can get wasted on the things that really aren't that important or that you can do at a later time when other things that are more "administrative".
Many people like to number their tasks that they are working on and work hard at it until that number is done. Colors are also used. I find that the mix of both works well for me because many times I have something colored that is high-priority, however, the numbers let me know which (2 comments)

Good Wednesday morning! Yesterday I didn't cross off as many things as I was hoping to. Today my list of things to get done and accomplish is much larger than it usually is. I am definitely going to be putting "the nose to the grindstone" (sounds painful, doesn't it?) and get things done today.

Good Tuesday morning! Going through the "To Do" list and getting things done. It feels good to be able to cross things off your list, however, when one gets crossed off, it seems to keep growing.
