Wikipedia defines envy "as a resentful emotion that occurs when a person lacks another's (perceived) superior quality, achievement or possession and wishes that the other lacked it." I don't necessarily agree with that entire definition. Envy, to me, is not always resentful. Many times if I see someone with something (material) that I would like to have, I can be envious of that person for having it without being resentful that that person has it. I also don't feel that the other person should lack that possession or achievement. There's a good (4 comments)
I've heard that character is who you are when noone is looking. Benjamin Franklin created a plan of character building for himself, which he followed religiously. This plan had thirteen qualities that still hold true today. If you would like to read his autobiography for free - click HERE. No matter how successful you are, unless you have good character, can you truly be successful?

What you do and how you you handle situations and people is all related to the behavior that you exude. I tend to lead by example to those around me. I wouldn't ask anyone to do anything that I wouldn't do myself unless I there wasn't anyway that I could do it, like write programming code. Your behavior in a situation says a lot about you and what kind of person you are regarding that situation. You've heard (5 comments)
You need to realize that you cannot do everything by yourself. I know it’s hard to believe, but it’s true. Everyone has his or her strengths and weaknesses. There are many out there who will tell you to work on your weakness to build them up… Why? Isn’t it better to keep moving forward utilizing your strengths and what you’re good at? Delegate those things that you are week in to others and watch your business excel. You cannot do this until you learn to let go. “A brave man acknowledges the (5 comments)
For you to concentrate on what is going on around you and with what you are doing you must have awareness. By not giving proper concentration is not focusing on attention to detail, which is what’s needed for you to succeed with all facets of your life. It doesn’t matter if it’s with business or talking you're your spouse, if you don’t concentrate on what’s in front of you – you (3 comments)

Dreams give you something to live for, a goal to achieve, a want and a desire. They are a necessary part of life that is needed to help us to achieve the things we want in life.

positive thinking: Concentrate: Daily Inspiration: May 17, 2012 - 05/17/12 07:53 AM
Good Thursday to you! Today’s word is Concentrate. Many times, much work that we do is done on autopilot. This is fine because there are many tasks that can be done this way. Most of our money, however, comes from us dealing with someone and having to speak to him or her. This needs to be done by concentrating. It is vitally important what we say and do, because, without our bringing in new business and properly taking care of the business in front of us – we have no business! So, the next time that you are doing your business (1 comments)

positive thinking: Ignorance: Daily Inspiration: May 14, 2012 - 05/14/12 04:37 AM
Good Monday morning to you! Today’s word is Ignorance. It’s amazes me when I look around in my business and find that people that are in my business take things at face value. What if those around me read something wrong or were incorrectly taught? They, then start regurgitating what they have been told, believing themselves to be right, when, they could just as easily looked up the information that they were looking for and then, perhaps, understood it there way. Many will say “so and so taught me that.” Sorry folks, it doesn’t mean that they are right about that (3 comments)

Good Thursday to you! Sorry that I haven’t been around this week, many family obligations. Today’s word is Believe. Being in a niche business, I found it difficult to find a CRM/Tracking system that I could use with ease and simplicity for my business. Yes, I found others that I could semi-customize, however, they just never seemed to work the way I needed them to for my business and I’ve tried over 10, highly rated systems and gave them all the “college try”. I started writing down what I wanted in a system and before I knew it I had over (4 comments)

Good Friday to you! Today’s word is Learning. Never stop learning about the subject of what you do because you will never know it all. Sometimes, the more you look into your business and a specific subject, the more there is to know. Find a niche in what you do and learn everything that you can about it so that you will be the one that someone wants to go to when that subject comes up. Become the authority (the best you can) on a specific subject. When you stop learning, you might as well lie down and die.

Good Thursday to you! Today’s word is Tenacity. Much like persistence and perseverance, you need to be tenacious in what you do each day and how you handle situations. Being tenacious or having tenacity means many things, yet the one that means the most to me is stubbornly unyielding. To move forward in life and in business my belief is that all three are needed: Tenacity, Persistence, & Perserverance.
“The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do. You can act to (2 comments)

Good Wednesday to you! Today’s word is Perseverance. Yesterday, I spoke about Persistence. I know that the two are almost exactly the same, however, I believe that with the slight differences of the two-you need both as you move forward in your life and in business. I can tell you from recent experience that persistence is definitely paying off, but I couldn’t persist without perserverance!

Good Tuesday to you! Today’s word is Persistence. Many times, in my business of Asset Recovery I send out many emails, letters, and make phone calls. Most of the time people just don’t believe that they have ten’s of thousands of dollars out there that they don’t know about. I have the credentials, testimonials, and everything is handled by attorneys, however, people just don’t believe. When I think about it, I understand. I still do it everyday (especially because I enjoy what I do) and still go through the grind that it can be at times. When someone doesn’t believe, (5 comments)
