inspiration: The Story of St. Valentine - Janice Roosevelt, Licensed in PA & DE, ABR, ePro, Ecobroker - 02/13/12 04:25 PM
The beautiful holiday that celebrates the gift of love on February 14, originated in 270 A.D with an amazing man named Valentine. The humble Christian Valentinus lived under the oppressive rule of Roman Emperor Claudius II. Claudis had ordered all Romans to worship state idols, and ordered death to those who even associated with Christians. Undeterred, Valentinus stayed steadfast to the ideals of Christ. One day a jailer for the Emperor of Rome brought his blind daughter to Valentinus for healing. She had been blind since birth and the father had learned of Valentinus's medical and spiritual healing abilities. Knowing the girl's condition would be difficult to

inspiration: How much of your day do you spend "happy?" - Janice Roosevelt, Keller Williams Real Estate, PA & DE - 01/09/12 06:45 AM
I love a daily message I recieve and today's was so thought-provoking I wanted to share it. The things that we would be asking ourselves is, "What proportion of my day am I in vibrational harmony with my desires, which means, how much of my day am I happy, glad, eager, fulfilled, satisfied, complimentary? And what percentage of my day am I ornery, irritated, frustrated, or blaming?" And you don't have to do 100%, you don't have to do 90%, you don't have to do 80%. If you could even get around 55% feeling better, than not feeling so good —

inspiration: Make no mistake - there are none...only lessons Janice Roosevelt, Keller Williams Real Estate, PA & DE - 12/12/11 12:55 PM
Rule One - Life presents lessons. Life is a constant learning experience, which every day provides opportunities for you to learn more. These lessons specific to you, and learning them 'is the key to discovering and fulfilling the meaning and relevance of your own life'. Rule Two - There are no mistakes, only lessons. Your development towards wisdom is a process of experimentation, trial and error, so it's inevitable things will not always go to plan or turn out how you'd want. Compassion is the remedy for harsh judgement - of ourselves and others. Forgiveness is not only divine - it's

inspiration: Two things that make you wiser: the books you read and the people you meet - Janice Roosevelt, Ecobroker, ABR, ePRO - Matt Fetick Real Estate Team - Keller Williams - PA & DE - 06/02/09 07:16 AM
I reading THE POWER OF FOCUS by Jack Canfield, et al I am struck by the B-ALERT system, which works to create optimum balance - Becoming alert to the subtle pressures that can easily push you off target. The "L" is for learning - and doing that on a daily a basis - doesn't have to be earth-shattering, jaw-dropping kind of learning, but generally, as the quote from Charles "Tremendous" Jones goes, it's going to come from one of two places: books and people . So important to take at least a few minutes to read or notice what you can from
