Directed by Ken Kwapis , Big Miracle, a rescue adventure involving a family of three gigantic gray whales trapped in quickly freezing ice the near the small Alaskan town, Barrow warms the cockles of your heart.
It also made me grateful I don’t live anywhere near the Arctic Circle and we’ve had a mild winter.

It would be enough just to absorb again and again the exquisite painterly scenes in the opening sequence of Wood Allen’s Midnight in Paris. Created by cinematographer Darius Khondji, the film opens with a vintage postcard-style montage of Parisian cultural icons glittering from soft sunrise to inky night. It is breathtaking.
The cast of bright lights stars Owen Wilson, perfect as Gil Bender, a Hollywood screenwriter on holiday with fiancée Inez, played by Rachel McAdams. Wilson is the perfect replacement for Allen on screen, easy delivery teetering between humor and weightiness. Original and engaging to the core.

JUST FOR FUN....Don't know if anyone has teenage daughters or for some other reason is swept up in the whole vampire thingy based on the blockbuster movie TWILIGHT which takes place in Forks, WA...

Some people I meet are skeptical about yoga --- not enough time, it hurts, whatever. This person doesn't get it no matter how many times you try to explain the wondrous benefits of the practice. If only you could convicne him to check out a class and or two or three, you know he'd become a devout yogi, too. Hmm's sounds a little unyoga like and very stressful.
