The SEC, I would be willing to bet the farm many folks would think those initials are short for the Securities and Exchange Commission, the federal government agency in charge of overseeing stocks, bonds and other "securities". The last few years have been tough for the many people who own securities, they haven't been to secure. Since I'm not a stock broker or investment counselor, just a humble home inspector, this post has nothing to do with and everything to do with the SEC.
