The Rocking R Neighborhood in Hayden, Idaho
The Rocking R is a pretty, upscale neighborhood located north of Lacy and east of Maple in Hayden, Idaho.  Towering pines frame the subdivision, and in some sections they fill the yards.  Streets are wide and the landscaping is well manicured.  The Rocking R can be described as neat and tidy.
As of today, 9/24/2011, there are nine homes for sale, one sale pending, and eight homes that have sold in Rocking R in the past 12 months.

hayden: Field of sunshine brightens a gloomy day near Hayden, Idaho - 07/04/10 01:09 AM
Driving along Lancaster Road this afternoon, the skies were dark as I headed from Rathdrum to Hayden.  As I neared Hwy. 95, this beautiful field of sunshine appeared before me.  I'm not sure what it is that is growing here in such a bright, sunshiny display, but the scene took my breath away!

It's no surprise to those of us who love living here that the Coeur d'Alene metro-statistical area ~ Kootenai County, including Post Falls and Hayden ~ placed 2nd on the Milken Institute's Best Performing Small Cities list for 2008, up four points from last year's 6th place finish.  "Coeur d'alene is not a secret anymore.  We're well known on both the East and West coasts," said Steve Griffitts, president of Jobs Plus, Inc., the Coeur d'Alene area economic development organization.  The index ranks U.S. metro areas to reveal where jobs and prosperity are being created based on economic growth, long- and short-termed measurements … (6 comments)
