(I didn't mean for this to be a book, sorry. Writing this was therapeutic on some level...) I never aspired to work with short sales. They just found me! Last year I became the agent for some buyers who fell in love with a short sale. After looking at at least a zillion houses, they decided to wait it out for the short sale. That's when I learned how powerless it is to be the buyer's agent, because there is NOTHING YOU CAN DO to move the process along! I was at the mercy of the Listing agent, having to trust that
