This season has been incredible here in Utah for ski and snowboard enthusiasts - The storms just keep coming.  Currently it is snowing hard, with no signs of stopping, which could equate to yet another powder day in the mountains of Utah!  There have been to many to count this year, with over a foot of new snow in the mountains in the past 24 hours being reported!  AND - With a current base of OVER 150 INCHES of snow being reported at some of the ski resorts, it looks like the snow will be here for awhile!

Deer Valley opens December 8th this year with $9 million in improvements!   The biggest addition and change to the mountain is the opening of 200 additional ski able acres in the new high speed quad going into North West portion of the mountain near Empire Canyon.  This area will feature nine new runs - three experts, one intermediate and five beginners.  
This area, the Lady Morgan bowl has always been a favorite of the locals, but however its short run out and the need to hike out of the area kept many skiers away.  The addition of the new … (1 comments)

Hey wait... Isn't Utah the land of the Mormons?  The place with all the Polygamists, and an average family size of 15??  Isn't Utah the place where you can't order a double, and you have to buy a "private club membership" to go into a real bar?
It's not as bad as you might think here in Utah.  Average family size is actually decreasing, and in reality, less than 50% of the people who live in Salt Lake City are actually Mormons, and less than 30% in Park City! And while Utah's Liquor laws are kinda silly - you just have … (2 comments)

It has already snowed twice in Park City so far this year, and the season is fast approaching!  If you're vacationing in Park City, or to any of the Ski Resorts in the area, Please contact me in advance of your trip!  I can probably help you obtain day passes, and coupon books at a much discounted rate from the regular "day pass" rate!  I have included links to all the resorts, and my personal tips about each one below!
