I was on a site that talked about all the fun and exciting things we experienced in Orange County.

As I started reading the many posts, I think there were 187 at the time. I started to see a common theme.

As Funny as it sounds they were posting memories about stores.

North Street Sears, Grants, Woolworth's and Tompkins. Caldor's, Lloyds, White's, A&P, Rickel's, McDonalds, Carols, Pizza Places, Aurther Treature's Fish and Chips, 7-11 Slurpies, and Riding the clown mini-ferris wheel at the entry of Playtogs.

The Orange Plaza, Green's, JC Penney, Friendly's, Middletown Savings, Foxmore, Kassel Brothers, Sullivan's, Groo's Shoes, Mama Brava's, Fanny Farmer, Orange Julius, Baskin Robin's, Sears, Helen Gallagher's, Woolworth's, The Head Shop. The Twin movie theater, Paramount , add the Drive in and the Bowling Ally's.

If I just gave you a flash back, join the club!

But stop and consider that all the childhood memories collectively people on a website who don't know each other and have no interest in advertising any of the places listed. It sure makes you think about the impact businesses have on a community..... just some food for thought.
