I came across an article regarding how Blackberry devices and smartphones have become essential, if not almost required, components for REALTORS.  Many of us have them already, but I still see many agents without them.  The article speaks about prompt communication being KEY.  They cited a recent NAR survey that showed 78% of the polled consumers would work for the first REALTOR that got back in touch with them. Football Season - 08/25/08 09:33 PM
So here we find ourselves at that time of the year again...football season.  From now until the end of November (and hopefully into the new year) I will be spending nearly EVERY Saturday watching NCAA football.  It's time to rearrange my work schedule. I CANNOT show a property on game day....NEVER!!  However I do feel bad when I tell my clients, "well I have an appointment at that time on Saturday." I just don't share with them that the appointment is me sitting in front of my television watching my Florida Gators.  I am a long time Florida fan but I am an alum … (0 comments)

Today I decided that I simply was not going to work real estate.  I decided early in the day that it was Saturday and I just wanted to do NOTHING.  The phone rang several times and I looked at it and let them all go to voice mail.  Hey, the world isn't going to stop rotating because I don't answer my phone.  I had a long week of ups and downs with two deals and I decided that today (if not this entired weekend) was just my time to relax.  How many of you ever just take these kinds of days?  Not answering … (2 comments)

First Blog - 08/22/08 09:47 PM
Ok, so tonight I finally decided to post my first blog.  I fought this for quite a while and thought that blogging was a fad or the "flavor of the week."  Then all of a sudden it hit me like a brick.  A light came on (finally, huh?).  I realized the importance of blogging (amongst many other internet related issues) and decided that I would start blogging.  The next challenge for me will be what to blog about and how often.  I figured that this would be a good start and we'll see where it goes from here.
