I am often asked about mobile homes that are for sale in my area. At times the potential buyers do not realize that the home is in a rental park and not in one where you also own the land under the home. This sometimes happens when they tell me they saw a mobile home for sale for only $25,000 that was beautiful and large. Strangely enough, yesterday and today I had two people call me with requests for the same information about some of the mobile homes that were for sale in the area. I gave them the information they needed, but they both thought the prices were a bit high. I then asked them if they would consider any of the other parks in the Zephyrhills and East Pasco County areas. They each had the same reply, "No, we want to own the land under the home and the other parks only have rental lots. We do not want to pay rent!"

There is an old proverb that says "Marry in haste, and repent at leisure". I suspect many a visitor to those little wedding chapels in Las Vegas can attest to the validity of this saying. Here in the Zephyrhills area of Florida I often have home buyers call me and they tell me that they have seen a mobile home for sale for just $15,000!
