Seniors Real Estate Specialist...So much to learn!
I am an education junkie!  I love learning, I love expanding my horizons and I love being in classrooms interacting with my peers.  I guess it is really no big surprise that I am an MCE Instructor and Company Trainer!  Today and tomorrow I am taking the SRES designation course at the New Braunfels/Canyon Lake Association of REALTORS.  Our instructor is the incomparable Pat Strong who is my instructor hero!  I told her today when class started that "I want to be you when I grow up!"

The show stopper...my son and I attended the Air Show at Randolph Air Force base and had a marvelous day of discovery and fun.  He wants to fly fighter jets for the Air Force one day and was absolutely taken by the sights and sounds of the day.  The pinnacle of the event was the F-22 Raptor demonstration.  It was amazing and totally engaging and we were fortunate to be on the front row for the demo and when the Raptor taxied right in front of us!!!

NEW BRAUNFELS (San Antonio Express-News)
– Baptist Health System announced Wednesday plans to open a hospital in 2012 on 56 acres near the new Town Center at Creekside. The announcement comes nearly 60 years after the opening of New Braunfels’ only hospital, Christus Santa Rosa Hospital–New Braunfels.
The new hospital off I-35 near FM 306 and Freiheit Rd. could cost as much as $110 million, depending on the number of beds it houses. Planning and design for the facility have not been finalized. The community hospital is expected to … (1 comments)

Yesterday I had a wonderful opportunity to be a guest speaker at the SAAREB Housing Fair in San Antonio Texas.  My friend a fellow broker Bill Price invited me to speak and I wasn't sure what my topic would be...even though I had given him my speech title two weeks ago...From House to Home...
Well there are certainly a lot of directions to take with that one...
But the night before the presentation it hit me.  This is likely to be first time home buyers or inexperienced home buyers, so why not educate them on something … (5 comments)

I recently read a daily devotional that I receive by email and it really made me stop and think...not just because it focused on the theme of think, which in this case was an acronym.  The point of the message was that we are so quick to judge, criticize, and gossip and in reality we need to stop and T.H.I.N.K.
What does T.H.I.N.K. stand for???
