Last night torrential rains and severe storms pummeled the Comal County area of Central Texas.  Hardest hit were Canyon Lake, the Guadalupe River, Comal River, New Braunfels, Lake Dunlap, Lake McQueeney and areas of Seguin.
It was a crazy storm that had me out of bed at 4am in my jammies, broom in hand sweeping water out of my entry hall and out the front door of my home.  We were fortunate...others have lost homes, businesses and one man has lost his life.

CANYON LAKE TEXAS WATERFRONT MARKET REPORT FOR MAY 2010
The summer season has arrived and while we saw a jump in sales activity for the spring, waterfront sales still tend to be slow going.  The high end market is not recovering as quickly as most would like, but with the still challenging to get Jumbo loan market in turmoil and the economy in survival mode, we just are not seeing the luxury vacation home market bounce back.
The following data is from the Central Texas MLS and covers residential waterrfont properties on Canyon Lake.

Wordless Wednesday...Landa Park Gazebo - 06/02/10 09:36 AM

Wordless Wednesday...Landa Park Gazebo
This is one of my favorite places to sit and think and enjoy a pretty day...this is located in New Braunfels, Texas in our beautiful Landa Park on the Comal Springs.  There are ever present ducks quacking and bathing nearby, other gorgeous birds all around, squirrels scampering about and the sound of children playing and laughing.  I love this gazebo and come here often to reflect and take in the sights of the park.
