This little guy was amazing...
When on the sand, he became tan with spots...
When on the tree, he became brown with spots...
When on the grass, he became green...
When on the rocks, he became grey...
What a fascinating little fellow!

This past week was my son's spring break and since his coast trip didn't pan out and I had real estate business to attend to, we opted to take a day and have a staycation! We visited Pedernales Falls State Park a little over an hour away from our home in the gorgeous Texas Hill Country. I am blessed to be able to call the Texas Hill Country home, a gorgeous place where I live, work and play! Nothing is more amazing than the tapestry of the Texas wildflowers in the Spring! They will be coming out very soon and I can hardly wait!!! This is a shot I took at the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin Texas. Life is GOOD!

Wordless Wednesday...Landa Park Gazebo
This is one of my favorite places to sit and think and enjoy a pretty day...this is located in New Braunfels, Texas in our beautiful Landa Park on the Comal Springs. There are ever present ducks quacking and bathing nearby, other gorgeous birds all around, squirrels scampering about and the sound of children playing and laughing. I love this gazebo and come here often to reflect and take in the sights of the park.

The show stopper...my son and I attended the Air Show at Randolph Air Force base and had a marvelous day of discovery and fun. He wants to fly fighter jets for the Air Force one day and was absolutely taken by the sights and sounds of the day. The pinnacle of the event was the F-22 Raptor demonstration. It was amazing and totally engaging and we were fortunate to be on the front row for the demo and when the Raptor taxied right in front of us!!!

My family and I rented a condo on Padre Island off the Texas Coast as we do every Thanksgiving. It was wonderful to get away, enjoy the surf, birds, hot tub, and family time. I was privileged to wake up before sunset one morning and hit the beach with my camera. I took dozens of photos and I was blessed to have the chance to meet God and spend time in the presence of His marvelous creation.

I was on a vacation in the Pacific Northwest a couple of summers ago and while sitting on a log on the beach on Whidbey Island, looked to my left and saw these randomly scattered stones on the log...the way the sun was shining on them and the stones all around the log captured my eye and I snapped this shot. I love photograpy and have an exhibit in Texas next weekend!

Steve is amazingly talented and is working on his degree in the ministry, his wife Renee was my son's fifth grade teacher at NB Christian Academy and they are also clients of mine...today we start their dream home search!

This is a photo that I have exhibited in a show. I took it while on a retreat in Mason, Texas in the gorgeous Texas Hill Country. As I was walking along a dry creek bed I came across these lush ferns growing out of a solid rock cliff. It struck me as interesting that something so vibrant and beautiful could grow out of solid rock.

I did it...I held a snake!!!
Last Sunday my son and his NaNa visited the San Antonio Botanical Gardens. They had a snake exhibit and we were allowed to take turns holding a python! Here is the little fella! He was actually quite gorgeous and very sweet...I know, I know...a snake, sweet??? Seriously... it was! I didn't realize til I processed the pics that I looked kind of concerned in the photos! LOL! Below is my son Jordan.
