Speechless Sunday...Spring is Coming!
I am blessed to be able to call the Texas Hill Country home, a gorgeous place where I live, work and play! Nothing is more amazing than the tapestry of the Texas wildflowers in the Spring! They will be coming out very soon and I can hardly wait!!! This is a shot I took at the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin Texas. Life is GOOD!

when your cat is laying in the sink!
This is Sammy, our ultra spoiled and very comical Tuxedo Cat.
He has a thing for laying in my bathroom sink. It makes is hard to brush your teeth when he jumps up on the counter and crawls into the sink. One day he moved too fast and he ended up with toothpaste on his head!

A few shots of my 13 year old son from the recent photo shoot we did for his 8th grade year. He is first chair trombone in the MVMS Honor Band and Brass Section Leader on the Band Leadership Team, he is a Boy Scout Star Rank working on Life Scout Rank, plays on the MVMS Tennis Team and just an all around great kid...I am blessed!

I spent a glorious weekend in Mason Texas in the gorgeous Texas Hill Country at a Ladies Retreat a couple of years ago and was blessed to capture many capivating scenes during my visit. Speechless Sunday...Bathtime!
I do wildlife and nature photography as a side business to my real estate. It really started as a passion that my late father got me into as a kid and has grown into a business. I have done three exhibits and have sold some of my work...so I suppose that makes me a professional in some sense.

The show stopper...my son and I attended the Air Show at Randolph Air Force base and had a marvelous day of discovery and fun. He wants to fly fighter jets for the Air Force one day and was absolutely taken by the sights and sounds of the day. The pinnacle of the event was the F-22 Raptor demonstration. It was amazing and totally engaging and we were fortunate to be on the front row for the demo and when the Raptor taxied right in front of us!!!

SPEECHLESS SUNDAY...VANCOUVER SUNSET
In honor of the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games, I am sharing this photo I took at sunset just outside of Vancouver. We truly enjoyed our Canadian vacation, the people, sites, food and events were delightful and we cannot wait to return! It has been a magical two weeks watching the best of the best compete in the winter games and what a beautiful location. Thanks Canada!

In the fall of 2009, my son and I attended the Annual Air Show at Randolph AFB. Jordan wants to be an Air Force pilot, so this opportunity was a real treat for him. Being a photography nut, I had plenty to shoot throughout the day. This was the C-5 cargo plane that greeted us at the front gate...we had a fabulous day and got to meet the crews of each plane we toured.

Speechless Sunday...Sunrise on the Island
My family and I rented a condo on Padre Island off the Texas Coast as we do every Thanksgiving. It was wonderful to get away, enjoy the surf, birds, hot tub, and family time. I was privileged to wake up before sunset one morning and hit the beach with my camera. I took dozens of photos and I was blessed to have the chance to meet God and spend time in the presence of His marvelous creation.

I was on a vacation in the Pacific Northwest a couple of summers ago and while sitting on a log on the beach on Whidbey Island, looked to my left and saw these randomly scattered stones on the log...the way the sun was shining on them and the stones all around the log captured my eye and I snapped this shot. I love photograpy and have an exhibit in Texas next weekend!

My friend Steve warming up for a set at Art on the Loop in New Braunfels, Texas. This was also my first photography exhibit which was held about a year ago. Steve is amazingly talented and is working on his degree in the ministry, his wife Renee was my son's fifth grade teacher at NB Christian Academy and they are also clients of mine...today we start their dream home search!

One of the treasures of San Antonio, Texas is the Botanical Gardens. I caught this little guy at the entrance as we walked in and decided to get my macro lens out and take the shot. Speechless Sunday...Stonehenge Replica in Hunt, Texas.
Hunt, Texas is a little community located just outside of Kerrville in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. It is a peaceful and beautiful place where nature abounds. The replica of Stonehenge was built by a local rancher and is there for viewing and photo ops along with two replicas of Easter Island Heads.
