Colorado apartments cost more in second quarter Colorado apartments cost more in quarter – Apartment vacancies dropped and rents rose in Colorado during the second quarter, according to a Colorado Division of Housing report released yesterday. The state’s average apartment vacancy rate decreased to 6.2% from 9.1 in the second period of 2009. It was basically flat from 6.6% in this year’s first quarter. Foreclosure filings dropping in Arapahoe County - 08/16/10 04:16 PM
Foreclosure filings are slowly inching down in Arapahoe County, a development that appears to be mimicking a statewide trend, according to an Aug. 5 report from the Colorado Division of Housing.
There were 300 fewer foreclosure filings in the county during 2010's second quarter, an 18.7 percent drop over the same period last year. In all, there were 1,303 foreclosures filings in the second quarter of 2010; about 1,603 filings were reported in Arapahoe County through the second quarter of 2009.
