aurora quest k8 hosts china exchange students: Aurora Quest K-8 Hosts China Exchange Students - 09/02/10 04:19 PM
Aurora Quest K-8 recently hosted 25 exchange students and their two chaperones from Beijing, China over the summer. Many of the host families have children who currently attend Aurora Quest K-8.
“The experience was a tremendous one for all involved,” said Dusty Burton, Aurora Quest K-8 Social Studies Teacher. “Being able to bridge the cultural and language gap between our two powerful countries was not only a worthwhile venture, but also one that no one will soon forget. Lifelong friends were made. Cultural awareness was both brought to us and given to the students from China.”
