This past week I have had 2 price reductions:

1. Contact your lender about financing and get pre-qualified for a loan.
2.  Call the listing broker/agent and ask about the house.  Is it still available?  What is the current asking price? Is the seller offering any concessions with that price? Is the seller willing to finance?  If the seller is not offering any financing, ask the broker if they can supply lender contact info.  If so, call  lenders and compare with the info from your lender that prequalified you on interest rates and terms.  Make an appointment to view the house.

The weather has been fantastic here!  There's a lot going on around the lake at Lake Raymond Gary, especially if you're a bird.  People have been pretty quiet but the birds have sure been enjoying the lake.

Christmas 2008 has come and gone.  Many people, in addition to cutting their own Christmas Tree, go searching for Mistletoe to add to their holiday décor.   While the tradition is that anyone under the mistletoe can be kissed, that evergreen parasite with the small white berries is the “Kiss of Death” for your trees that it was clipped from.
