Location, location, location: There Are Many Related Questions - 11/30/09 03:25 PM

Via Gabe Sanders, Stuart Florida Real Estate (Premier Realty Group):
Ask anyone. Buying a home in a "good" location is what you should do. But what's good for one person may not be ideal for someone else.
One factor to consider is whether the quality of a neighborhood is going up or down. When many homes in an area are for sale because of foreclosures, that might not signal a "down" verdict. If homes are of good quality, they will be resold and the neighborhood will again be stable. Those who buy now could get more for their money than they … (0 comments)

Repairs That Help Sell Your Home
Most sellers know of some repairs that need to be made to their home, and a lot of sellers have many items on that list, but not all repairs are equal or, rather, not all home improvements rank high in the buyer's mind.
Finding out which repairs will help you sell your home helps you create a good, solid fix-it list to work on. A study aimed to take the guess-work out of where to spend your repair dollars. According to the study, the top four areas to … (4 comments)

Via Barbara Heil-Sonneck - Home Staging Atlanta (Design2Sell - We Stage Atlanta ):
A gallon of paint is one of the least expensive staging tools and the quickest way to change a room, it is staging magic in a can. One of the biggest mistakes sellers make is to paint everything white, which will make the interior of the home look clean, but does nothing to create emotions.
