After two major surgeries, D.V. Fennell had to be talked into coming back on the road by travel partner Justin McDaniel. And, man, is he glad he listened. The Missouri bareback rider was already in the top 10 of the PRCA World Standings entering the May 28-31 weekend and then strung together three wins in three states in three days to further advance his bid for his first Wrangler National Finals Rodeo qualification. Our middle son, Doug Fennell is PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association) and currently rides in the bareback competion. In earlier years, he also rode bulls. He's doing well this year. The San Angelo Rodeo in San Angelo, Texas was held in February of this year and DV (Doug) Fennell came in fourth in Bareback - Overall Winnners and 4th in Bareback - Average Short Go with 84 points on a horse named Spring Fling.
Doug competes all over the nation and many of these performances are aired on television. This allows him to showcase companies that he has endorsement arrangements with. … (2 comments)

I attended a GREAT RODEO last night AND it’s still going on! You can attend and have a GREAT TIME TOO! The Paris Rodeo and Horse Club is having their annual rodeo RIGHT NOW at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds, 570 East Center Street, Paris, Texas. I’m a country gal and one of our sons, DV Fennell is a cowboy, a REAL cowboy! He has rodeoed for several years, placed well enough to make two trips to compete in the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.
