I did so enjoy the snow this morning. Even though it was was not easy on the new baby calves... it was so pretty. They looked like chocolate chips out in the pasture.... but not the pics today. Drove into town and shot some along the way.
We got quite a bit of snow, but no roads closed here, in fact when I awoke at 6:30 this morn, the snow was actively melting and gutters were dripping water.

My town, Idabel, is not a rich town. In fact, McCurtain County in which Idabel is the county seat, Choctaw County and Pushmataha county are the three poorest counties in Oklahoma in terms of per capita income and in terms of the number of children in the public school systems that are on free lunches. When you drive through Idabel you will find some housing that would obviously be better replaced with nice mobile homes and yet Idabel will not allow mobile homes to be moved into the city limits.
