Fifth Day in Las Vegas, Nevada I'm a Southeast Oklahoma gal, to be more specific, Choctaw County and McCurtain County. We're here To watch our son, D V Fennell compete in The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. We've watched this event every year on TV, as have millions of people around the world. As some of you know, D V Fennell is our son. He has been chasing the National Finals Rodeo this year, harder than in previous years...
Currently D V is ranked 10th in the World and it's looking right for this to be THE YEAR!
D V tied for a second place win this past week-end at the PRCA rodeo held in San Juan Capistrano, California...
There's just a little over a month left ... and it's looking good.

D V Fennell, our son has his goals set on the National Finals this year in Bareback Riding. He has really worked hard and it's looking good. To read about D V's steps toward Vegas in December. Photos, updates, etc as he progresses. He's in Cheyenne tonight. … (2 comments)

After two major surgeries, D.V. Fennell had to be talked into coming back on the road by travel partner Justin McDaniel. And, man, is he glad he listened. The Missouri bareback rider was already in the top 10 of the PRCA World Standings entering the May 28-31 weekend and then strung together three wins in three states in three days to further advance his bid for his first Wrangler National Finals Rodeo qualification.
