What are You Planting Today for Your Future??
 
This evening I was enjoying time outside and taking in the beauty of all of our blooming trees.
 

 
 
We moved to this lovely home in 2008 and there was not a tree or garden in this backyard.  In fact the first few weeks we lived here I complained, for I did not even see a bird.  With no trees or feeders the birds had little to no reason to visit this yard.
 
Well, let me tell you, time changes everything.

So Excited for The Tulips are Blooming in Charlotte, NC
 
Last fall I saw these tulip bulbs and the pictures showed double tulips in pinks and white.  I purchased two bags of bulbs and planted these late last fall.  This was my first attempt with Tulips.
 
Well, this week with the rains and warmer weather they decided to start blooming.  They were really enjoying the sunny 80+ degree weather today.
 

 
There is something so rewarding about digging in the ground to prepare a spot, plant something in that spot and wait to see the magic happen.

gratitude: Today I was Grateful for Our Office "Pot Luck Thanksgiving Celebration." - 11/22/11 08:54 PM
Today our SouthPark Keller William's office had our annual "pot luck Thanksgiving luncheon"  from 11am-1pm.
 
Every agent brought a dish to share and we all got together to give thanks for all that we have.  It was absolutely lovely today.  It was well attended and the food was delicious.  There was so much to choose from and many returned for seconds and thirds.  I was good...I did not go back for seconds or thirds.
 
We started the meal by an agent saying a beautiful prayer over the meal.

gratitude: Today is Tuesday and I am Grateful for... - 11/15/11 07:00 AM
Each and everyday there is so much to be grateful for and today I am grateful for the fact that my first batch of Christmas cookies came out great.

I got up early this morning for I wanted to bake them, so that they would be fresh for an event that I am attending this morning.
 
I have to admit I have eaten two with my morning coffee and they are great.  I wish you were here to have some coffee and cookies with me.

Each and everyday there is so much to be grateful for and today I am grateful for all of you on ActiveRain.
 
A year ago yesterday I wrote my first post on ActiveRain.  I had no idea how or what to write about, but I just jumped in and gave it my best effort.
 
I have to say this has been a great ride this past year and I am so thankful to each and everyone who has been supportive of my posts and who continually encourage me.  I absolutely cherish the relationships that have developed and I look forward to … (12 comments)

gratitude: Gifts from Our Gardens! - 05/07/11 10:46 PM
This evening I came home after a busy day with buyers and was so thankful to be home.  After dinner I took a walk and enjoyed being outside in the fresh air.  As I looked around I began to see new signs of life here and there.  Each new sign is a gift.
I could hear the chirps of new baby birds as their mother brought food to them.
Roses are coming out everywhere.  Will have to get pictures to share.
