This annual event begins at 10:15 am with a silent auction. All proceeds will go to the Housing Opportunity Foundation. Helping rescued dogs is definitely a passion of mine. I have done things such as transport dogs for vet visits, for rides to their new approved home, to give them their freedom ride to safety from a high kill shelter, have done home visits to see if the family is approved to adopt, and fostered dogs myself in our home. In 2008 I moved my mother from Florida to live with me after my step-father passed. This October my mother had her 90th birthday. Each and everyday I am so grateful to have this special time to share with my mother. She is an amazing woman and is so intelligent, loving and kind. I have learned so much from her over the years.

Today I submitted a donation to Walk Now for Autism Speaks. I did this to support my beautiful niece Lauren Gumer. I desire to support her efforts with her walk in April 2013. In May 2009 she gave birth to her gorgeous son Jayden and he is autistic. She loves her son and it is Lauren’s desire and passion to help find a cure for autism.

As many of you know I volunteer with a great boxer rescue group and there name is ... Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue There are so many wonderful dogs in need and there is a desperate need for foster homes, so that many more dogs can be gotten to safety. Many are in high kill facilities and are on borrowed time. Today my focus is on a Boxer named Kibbee.

Pay it Forward...House Sitting While Carpets are Cleaned. Today I met White Knight Steamer at the townhouse of a soon to be new listing. The seller has already moved and needed to get carpets cleaned before I list her townhouse. I met Danny at 1pm and he finished around 4pm.

I was looking at labrador retrievers on Petfinder the other evening and came upon this beautiful white labrador and beside his name was this word (Urgent). I opened his information and he was described as a young labrador with a great personality. Very sweet and loves all other dogs. It also described him as an owner surrender. Pay it Forward... Popping By With Home Grown Tomatoes!! This year I planted 4 tomato plants and right now they are producing way more then I can use. They are so round and are beautiful red, solid beefy tomatoes with the best flavor.

Pay it Forward...Giving a Food Donation to Brenda's Kitty Rescue Adoption Fair at Petsmart. Today I had to stop at Petsmart to pick up dog food and cat food. When I walked in I saw that Brenda's Kitty Rescue was there and I had to get some extra Fancy Feast for her rescue group. I donated several bags as well as 24 cans of grilled chicken. Brenda's Kitty Rescue comes to Charlotte, but she is located in Lincoln County and does a fabulous job rescuing and re-homing cats in need. Last week this beautiful "pocket" Boxer was pulled from a high kill shelter in Greenville, SC. by Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue. She was so tiny that they thought she was a puppy. . The warranties were out and a couple of weeks ago I had to be towed. It was beginning to cost me more to keep this car so made the decision to trade it in. Yesterday as I was leaving the office I noticed a Staples Delivery truck pull up and the delivery man came towards the front door with a hand truck filled to the top with all sorts of office supplies. Pay it Forward....Give Where You Live! Today was the 3rd Annual Red Day for Keller Williams and all over the country every Keller Williams office does something on this day to give back to the community. Red stands for...Renew, Energize and Donate. My office got together at 10am and we worked together with the American Red Cross in assembling 300 bags of emergency items. These items would be delivered to needy families in case of a disaster in our community. There was a great turn out to help and of course we all wore red. His Wheaton Terrier dog had really aged and was having many difficulties and was suffering. One day the dog would have an okay day, but the majority of his days were not good.
