Dated Home Update - Photos! - 03/26/07 09:45 PM
Wanted to post an update to my Dated Home Needs Staging - Help blog.  Thought I'd share a couple photos so you can see what I did.  I ended up just ignoring the mirror over the bed since I couldn't pull off any of the great suggestions some stagers gave me, it just didn't look right.  Unfortunately, the angle I took the picture from you don't see the pretty reflection, but the TV - Oops!  I'm still not the best photographer!

Dated Home Needs Staging - HELP! - 03/21/07 02:28 PM
Attention all you creative AR stagers!  I need some suggestions for a dated home I'm staging on Monday.  Budget is limited and what you see is what you get.  In other words, there won't be any new updated furniture or paint, and the mirror over the bed is not coming down. It's attached on the wall and there's no wallpaper behind it and she didn't want to bother taking it down and all the wallpaper.   Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  My main concern is somehow making this living room sofa (and chair) work... maybe remove the chaise part, but what else besides a couple throw pillows?  And … (7 comments)

In my pile of mail that I'm finally getting a chance to go through  I received a USAA Magazine.  As I flipped through it I came across an article titled "SHOWTIME" ... advertising the benefits of staging your home for sale and providing various tips and before & after photos.  More importantly, I recognized a couple AR member names in it!  The before & after photos were of a townhouse staged by our own AR member, Melissa Marro.  Congratulations Melissa for a job well done!  Debra Gould was also mentioned in the article.  If I can find a link to the article, I'll post … (8 comments)
