Come Enjoy an Evening of Wine Tasting with a Silent Auction

The Women In Networking (WIN) Group of the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce and Il Palio Restaurant will hold the 7th Annual "Almost" Autumn Wine Tasting & Grant Fundraiser on Saturday, September 17, 2011. Come join us for an enjoyable evening during which we'll taste various wines, nibble on hors d'oeuvres, and put in our bids for delightful items at a silent auction.


WIN Wine Tasting


The event has a purpose beyond a fun evening out. It raises money to fund the Annual WIN Entrepreneurial Grant Fund through the Valley Community Foundation, which provides financial assistance to women in the towns of Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Derby, Oxford, Seymour and Shelton to enhance the applicant's current business or to start a new business. The minimum one-time grant is $500. Greater amounts may be awarded according to individual needs and available funds.

When:  Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 5 pm until 7 pm

Cost:    Tickets are $40.00 per person ($75.00 for 2 people), and include the wine tasting, hors d'oeuvres, goodie bag, door prize, and silent auction.

Note that you can also make reservations for a wonderful Il Palio dinner at the very special price of $35.00 per person. This is a real treat to cap off an evening spent with friends at an event that has benefits beyond a sociable way to spend some time in an amazing and lush atmosphere.
