This first day of Spring always starts me thinking about events and entertainment for the summer months. One of our family traditions every year has been the Lynden, Washington Fair. This year should be extra special, the Lynden Fair is celebrating its 100 year Anniversary this year in 2010.
The Lynden Fair is an all week event here in Whatcom County, Washington, and has entertainment for the entire family. Carnival rides are a big attraction for the younger crowd. Great performances by well … (4 comments)

The Hot Shot Tap Dancers performed at the Northwest Washington Fair in Lynden, Whatcom County, Washington! These Three young Brothers from Oregon, are wonderfully entertaining, and extremely talented! Carl, Lloyd, and Kyle have been performing together since they were very young. Their stage presence was professional and fun! They showed such personality and and energy in their performance, it was evident they truly love the world of dance and entertaining! This is my personal attempt to Thank Them for sharing their wonderful talent with my family on Thursday!

One of the things I love about the annual Lynden Fair in Whatcom County, Washington! adorable baby animals. I took this picture when my family and I went to the fair on Thursday! They were just too cute to not share! You have to love them, all of the baby animals are only part of the wonderful things you can see at the Northwest Lynden Washington Fair every year!

Today is the final day for the annual Fair in Northwest Washington in Lynden. What a year it has been. My family and I went to the Fair on Thursday this year! We purchased tickets to see the Foreigner concert. So that was the day we chose to go. Let me tell you that Foreigner was more than a fabulous show! They brought back memories of many years! Wow! I am Thankful to live in such a beautiful county! Whatcom County, WA is full of these wooded areas. We have alot of rain during the year, to keep things green. We also have alot of wildlife to see while hiking through the hills. The summers are more mild than other areas, but we do have our sunny days. I just thought I would share some pictures of the beautiful wooded area near our home, we are out picking berries with the kids today. The blackberries grow wild in Whatcom County, WA. The Summer is finally here! The kids are out of school, and spending more time outside playing. The day light hours are longer, it isn't getting totally dark now until almost 10:00!!The weather is warmer! The Wildlife is also enjoying all of the Wild berries that grow wild here. Families out picking the berries for pies and jams. Weekend drives in the county, and Vacations! These are all things we love about the Summer months in Whatcom County, WA.
