Bank of America now offering a “cooperative” short sale option through a company called UTLS (United Tech Lending Services). This client came to me after Bank of America told her to choose and agent that was a CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert). She had purchased a beautiful investment property as a rental in Washougal, WA in 2005, and could no longer afford the gap between the payments and the rent.

It took some counteroffers and penny pinching by all parties, but we got an approval in 35 days from submission date on my short sale listing in the Sterling Meadows subdivision, near Salmon Creek in Vancouver, WA! I hear a lot of groveling about how slow they are, but I have had nothing but great success with the Bank of America Loss Mitigation Department through Equator. Now lets hope the inspection goes well. Will be adding this to the website, and looking forward to the next one!
