I have a daughter with severe food allergies-corn, peanuts, wheat, soy, salt, milk, grass, trees, etc... you name it! It's been tough finding stores that I can shop for gluten-free and other foods of the like in Clark County. My favorite is Trader Joe's in the Cascade Park area of Vancouver, WA on Chkalov Avenue, between Mill Plain and SE 7th Street. I've been going there for years.
At Trader Joe's, not only will you find healthy convenience foods like frozen pizza in unusual favors, and sweet treats with cane juice instead of corn syrup... but you will always find … (3 comments)

Executive chef David Mork, has coordinated with the YWCA and Salvation Army to provide 72 dinners to 12 families.... Some of which are recovering from domestic violence situations, while others are in need of emergency food assistance due to unemployment.
