I have had this happen twice in one month... and it is driving me nuts!
The first incident was a vacant short sale in Washougal, WA. The day after signing, I arrive at the house to get the key box, and the new buyer is sitting in the house (fully furnished at this point), having a beer with her movers. The sale has not funded or recorded, lender was still reviewing loan documents on a Friday afternoon, and she was specifically told that early occupancy was not an option.

This was not a simple one! I received this listing after a surplus of agents had attempted to get response on dozens of offers with no luck. It is so astonishing that I am blogging about this, as I cannot fathom a seasoned agent (or educated adult for that matter), spelling their clients name wrong.... much less a client that gives you 100 listings a year. In 2010, you would think every agent with the slightest amount of tech savvy would know that you can Google virtually anything in 2 seconds if you are unsure (or forgot to read your listing agreement). Heck, Google will even correct your spelling if you're mistaken!
